Dean and I decided a long time ago we were going to take a trip and hit up all the National Parks in Utah and go to the Grand Canyon. Dean has never been to the Grand Canyon, so we thought we'd go. We didn't make it there this time because the North Rim is closed still for the winter and the South Rim was just too far for us this time. When we go we'll be camping.
This trip we decided to see Zion National Park, Four Corners, then head up to Moab and see Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. We saw some neat stuff along the way. I'll post a new post for each destination (hopefully it posts the way I want it to). We had a blast and Jack was such a good boy. He loves being outside and we have an adventurer on our hands! He loved the little hikes we took too. Hopefully we can just help his love for the outdoors and nature grow as he gets older. I know I love the outdoors too (and so does Dean)!

What a great trip - you hit some of my most favorite places. I love Arches and could spend days and days there without being bored. Too bad they're saying that the 4 corners monument is 2 1/2 miles too far west. Turns out you're really only in Utah and Arizona when you're there :-(

It looks/sounds like you all had a blast! I really need to talk my dh into going on a trip like that!! if you ever go to zion again, give me a holler, I'd love to meet up with ya, if it's possible. it will give me a good reason to take the fam up there. We are only about an hour away! Also, i really recomment Bryce Nt'l park, it is gorgeous too!! Great pictures. The one of Dean and jack is really good!
Wow! You have definately been going around and being busy. :) You are doing exactly what I would like to do. I think it would be awesome to visit all the parks in Utah. How are you doing? I hope you are doing good.
