Moving day is Monday

Moving day has finally almost arrived.  Tomorrow we get the trailer and load it up and Monday we leave early in the morning.  We're looking forward to the somewhat new adventure.  We just know that this is what we have to do.  Please keep us in your prayers for a safe trip!  I'll post when we get to Utah.

Here is video of Jack walking!!! He's getting good at it. Still needs a little practice, but he's now walking toward things on his own, which is adorable!!!

And he WALKS!!!

I'm so excited!  Jack took 4 steps towards me tonight!  He's been taking steps here and there, but nothing really significant and always when I'm at work.  Tonight, I stood him up back towards our bed and had him come to me.  He took 4 steps to me (and they were pretty strong steps, not really wobbly).  He'll probably be walking soon!!!

So, I've kinda neglected Jack's blog for a while.  We've been busy trying to pack and get everything ready for our move in 2 weeks from today.  That's really all that's been going on.  So, I'll post some random pictures I've taken of Jack in the last few weeks.  He's getting so big!  Just remember when you see some of the pictures that we are moving, hence the mess.

A woman I used to ride a vanpool with made this hat for Jack when he was first born.  It didn't fit him then because his head was too small.  Doesn't really fit him now either, but I thought he looked cute in it!

The Grass is Always Greener...

So, now that most people know, and if you don't and this is the first time you've heard of this, I apologize. Dean and I decided to move the 3 of us back to Utah. Things just aren't going to work out here for us. Dean and I have plans to go back to school (we'll be living down the street from Weber State) and finish getting our degrees, then we'll find a place of our own to live. As of now, we have no plans of returning to California. It's just too expensive here and either of us have any desire to to live here anymore. We now understand the saying "The grass is always greener on the other side."

Our moving date is February 2nd.
