Labor Day Weekend was BIG for Jack!

Lots happened this weekend in the world of Jack!

First, he's a big boy now and he and Sierra sleep in their own room! Yay! Mommy and Daddy were VERY happy about that! He sleeps a lot better in the other room, mostly because Sierra goes to sleep early too and it's quieter in there without the TV.

Then, he pulled himself up on the couch and wobbled himself along part of the couch! He really wants to walk, of course his little legs aren't strong enough for that yet. He gets around quite well doing his "Army crawl," but this weekend he also is getting better crawling on his hands and knees. The funny thing is, he can do that, but seems quite uninterested in doing it for the most part.

Also, on Friday Jack went to the ENT again. I was fortunate to go with him this time (as did Dean, thank goodness). Jack got scoped again, so he got Lidacaine and made some funny faces! I didn't realize the ENT was a photo op, so next time I'll bring my camera! LOL! Anyway, the doctor says he does refuse to do surgery on him because it's unnecessary and he'll grow out of it (it being Larnia Dysplacia, I think that's the "technical" name, if I remember correctly). The doctor says once his airway is the size of a straw he'll stop making the noise. He also said that the reason he won't do surgery (which, by the way, Dean and I are so grateful he doesn't need it) is because it's a difficult surgery and unless the doctor has deemed him "failure to thrive" (which he is anything but that) then he won't even consider it.

Yummy, toast! I gave Jack a Zwieback Toast from Gerber Graduates. He's had the biscuits, but this is the first time he's had the toast. I guess he gives a new meaning to the "if it doesn't get all over the place it doesn't belong in your face!"
