Jack's Doctor's Appointment

Jack had his 15 month doctor's appointment yesterday (only a month late, but what can you do?).  He is normal sized in weight (27%) and height (85%), but his head is in the 95%!!!  Maybe that's why he's in the 27% for weight!  LOL. I didn't so much believe the measurement, so at home I measured myself and it's accurate.  Dean and I don't believe it.  His head does NOT look that large and he's very proportionate.  The doctor isn't too concerned, but he did mention that Jack's fontanel isn't closed yet (which we noticed too) and he said he expects it to be closed by his next appointment in June.  The good news is Jack has no pressure or swelling in his head (which is what the doctor would be concerned about the size of his noggin), so he's not really concerned.

Well, that's about all that's going on.  Dean got his acceptance letter to Weber State and I'm still waiting for mine.  We're very excited!

Congrats on the acceptance letter. FWIW, don't worry about the head size. Most kids don't even out until 2 or 3 years old. My boys have all had heads that are high in the percentile, and they've been just fine. Of course, if you or your Dr. feels something is wrong, then of course look into everything. I just thought maybe something from someone that has BTDT 3 times might be helpful. He sure is a cute boy! I hope I get to meet him one day!

That is amazing! I can't believe how big he is growing. Congrats on the letter. I hope you get yours soon. :) Sorry we haven't talked lately. Brinley has been sick. :)
